HORS ROB MODELL E1-240

The Hors Rob model E1-240 with a Working Width of 2400mm is in no way inferior to modern 50 hp tractors in terms of area output.

In terms of manoeuvrability, the Hors Rob E1 puts previous systems in the shade. The machine convinces through:

  • simple usage
  • electronic preparation for autonomous driving
  • Standard edge distance control/ lane assistant

If desired, driving assistance systems can be installed, as they are already available in the automotive industry. This means that automatic driving on the edge can be achieved. A flexible tool carrier system is installed on the machine, which corresponds to all common riding surfaces: from hard to soft, via flowing soils, etc.

LUF has been building firefighting robots for global customers for 20 years. Drive technologies for well and easily controllable vehicles is LUF's daily business. Focusing on the essentials and fulfilling the important points to perfection is the foundation of the new HORS ROB E1.

FULLY AUTONOMOUS DRIVING

Der ursprüngliche Wunsch war es, ein voll autonomes System zu leistbaren Kosten zu entwickeln. "Stear by wire" - voll elektronisches Fahren ist für die Firma LUF mit jahrezehntelanger Erfahrung bereits Standard.

On outdoor pitches without a roof, the tried and tested GPS system can be used, as it has proven itself in agriculture.

Since most riding arenas are covered or in halls, these usual GPS systems do not work.

A flexible indoor system that has to function safely without installations in the riding arena is highly complex and starts at approx. 35,000.00 Euros system costs (pure software). In addition, the legal basis for accidents is not clearly defined, i.e. a person is required by law to monitor the system.

An affordable system is a basic prerequisite

Every indoor riding arena has a fence or side rails. With the help of these, the HORS ROB E1 can drive autonomously around the riding arena using electronic distance sensors such as those used in the automotive industry. This is the most dangerous area with a focus on collisions/damage to the indoor riding arena and the smoothing machine. The aim is to build a machine that is easy to use for all riders and can be operated safely even by inexperienced riders.

Anyone who can ride a horse should also be able to operate the hors-rob SAFELY

By integrating the towing vehicle into the riding arena flattening machine, it is much more compact than tractor-drawn machines.
